Hamza Yusuf (born 1960)^[6] is an American Islamic scholar,^{[3][7][8][9][10][11][12][13]} and is co-founder of Zaytuna College.^[1][14] He is a proponent of classical learning in Islam and has promoted Islamic sciences and classical teaching methodologies throughout the world.^[15]
