Hamza Yusuf (born 1960)[6] is an American Islamic scholar,[3][7][8][9][10][11][12][13] and is co-founder of Zaytuna College.[1][14] He is a proponent of classical learning in Islam and has promoted Islamic sciences and classical teaching methodologies throughout the world.[15]
